The University of Louisville men’s basketball team defeated top-ranked Syracuse 78-68 Saturday before a record crowd in the Cards’ final game at Freedom Hall.

Sophomore Kyle Kuric came off the bench to score 22 points for U of L, which is now all but guaranteed a spot in the NCAA tournament.

The Cards are moving from the 54 year old Freedom Hall to the new downtown arena, which is scheduled to open in November.
