by scrosby on January 17, 2010

The Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville is holding a birthday celebration today in honor of Ali’s 68th’s birthday. Spokesperson Jeanie Kahnke says they’re offering free admission and extended hours from ten to five.

She says they’re showing a documentary called “Facing Ali” at 2:30.

“Facing Ali is about different opponents Muhammad has had in his life, and what they’re doing now and how they feel about Muhammad,” says Kahnke. “So it’s very emotional and compelling film, and we’re offering it for free to the community.”

Kahnke says they’ll also have refreshments and trivia contests, as well as birthday-related merchandise.

Ali will not be present at the Louisville celebration.
