Haiti Earthquake Relief: How to Help

Numerous organizations around the world are joining forces to help the victims of Tuesday’s earthquake in Haiti.

NPR’s blog, The Two Way, is compiling a list of agencies that are coordinating earthquake relief.

In the Louisville area, donations can be made to Catholic Charities of Louisville, the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.

Louisville-based Presbyterian Church U.S.A. also has a relief effort:

Credit card donations can be made by phone at 1-800-872-3283 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern).
Donors can also send checks to: Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, P.O. 643700, Pittsburgh, PA 15624-3700.

Many individual houses of worship are also collecting relief funds.
