by Rick Howlett on November 25, 2009

Triple-A officials say automobile travel over the Thanksgiving weekend is expected to be up slightly over last year.

Louisville spokesperson Roger Boyd says local gas prices have fluctuated in advance of the holiday driving period, but have remained steady throughout the rest of Kentucky.

“I wish i could but I can’t promise that stations might go up a little but for all the people returning from their Thanksgiving holiday,” Boyd said.

Boyd says nationwide, about 38 million people will travel by automobile to a Thanksgiving destination this week.
