Visitors to downtown Louisville over the next few days can sign a giant holiday greeting card for Kentucky National Guard troops serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and other parts of the world.
Guard Adjutant General Edward Tonini says the gesture is appreciated.
“The reaction has just been astounding. I mean, this is a, this is a big, bold statement of how much the people of Louisville care for people in uniform, and the sacrifices that they and their families are providing. I got to tell you that it really means a lot to these soldiers to get something like this.”
People can sign the card or send a personal greeting by visiting Metro Hall now through Friday’s Light Up Louisville celebration.
