FEMA Deadline Less Than a Month Away

The two FEMA disaster recovery offices in Louisville have been converted into loan centers from the Small Business Administration. FEMA spokesperson Ted Stuckey says the two centers are staffed to help residents through the process of getting a loan to help recover from the August fourth flood.

“Individuals who still have needs with help filing out their SBA loan paperwork, if that was part of their recovery process, can come to these centers and actually get face to face help with Small Business Administration people,” he says.

Stuckey says the deadline to register for federal aid is less than a month away. October 13th is the last day residents can register online or over-the-phone to get FEMA aid from damages sustained in the August flood.
