by Rick Howlett on August 10, 2009

Louisville Metro Government officials say residents have dropped off nearly three thousand loads of flood debris since drop-off sites were opened at three locations Friday.

The sites, at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, the Morris Forman Treatment Plant and at 18th and Broadway, will remain open through Sunday, August 16.                                            Flood7

Each drop-off site is also now accepting household hazardous materials that were flood-damaged.
