by Rick Howlett on July 29, 2009

The Professional Golfers Association is expected to announce Thursday that Lousville’s Valhalla Golf Club will be the site of two top PGA events over the next several years.

The Courier-Journal reports that officials plan to announce that Louisville will host the Senior PGA Championship in 2011, and the PGA Championship in 2014.

Valhalla, which is owned by the PGA, has already been the site of two PGA Championships, one Senior Championship and last year’s Ryder Cup competition.
