Three more probable cases of swine flu have been reported in Kentucky, two in the metro area. They are the first possible cases of swine flu in Louisville.
The cases are on top of two previous confirmed cases in the Commonwealth.
Metro Health and Wellness Director Dr. Adewale Troutman says the cases are not cause for concern.
“The disease is following the course of any infections disease,” he says .”There’s no need for anything beyond what we’re already doing, which is surveillance and education.”
Troutman says the people exposed to the patients have been examined. He says the state has enough resources to handle a rise in flu infections.
