Tuesday’s presidential inauguration will be the first for Kentucky Congressman John Yarmuth as a member of the U.S. House.
The second-term congressman from Louisville calls the occasion “momentous”
“When you’re talking about overcoming 400 years of racial tensions in this country in one ceremonial moment, I think it’s going to be astounding for the country. I’m thrilled to be a part of history,” Yarmuth said.
Yarmuth was an early supporter of Obama during the presidential campaign.
