Cards To Host #1 Pitt

The University of Louisville men’s basketball team is back in action Saturday, taking on top-ranked Pittsburgh.

U of L Coach Rick Pitino says the Panthers’ number one ranking has no effect on his team’s preparation for the game.

“We know that if Pitt was number 30 we know we’d have a tough ballgame….we know we’re going to have a difficult game. The rankings are meaningless to us.” Pitino said Friday.

The Cards are ranked 20th in the country. Tipoff at Freedom Hall is 6:00pm.

Also this weekend, the Kentucky Wildcats visit Georgia, while Indiana hosts Penn State.
