Kentucky Legislative Preview

Kentucky’s legislative session gets underway this week. With a close race for House Speaker kicking off the so-called ‘short session’… legislators will then be faced with some hard decisions regarding the state’s budget deficit.

To find out more about what to expect, and how it might happen, Stephanie Sanders spoke with political reporter Jack Brammer of the Lexington Herald-Leader.

111th Congress Preview

The 111th Congress will meet for the first time on Tuesday. Among them will be Kentucky’s Third District Representative John Yarmuth, who’s beginning his second term. Yarmuth talked to Gabe Bullard about his plans for legislation, the inauguration and working with a new president.
