Kentucky election officials say they will be prepared to fight voter fraud in Tuesday’s election.
Secretary of State spokesperson Les Fugate says his office has tried to stay ahead of the curve in battling voter fraud by keeping the state’s voter rolls up to date.
“Just recently we removed 28,000 dead people from the rolls in Kentucky,” he says. “We try to take those proactive steps so that we don’t have any room for voter fraud.”
The Kentucky Attorney General’s office and federal officials say they’ll also be prepared to handle voter fraud complaints on Election Day.
