In his second visit to the Indiana since joining the presidential ticket, Senator Biden held a rally in Jeffersonville’s Warder Park.
The vice presidential candidate focused on the economy and blamed Wall Street’s woes on the current administration. He said a McCain presidency would be equally disastrous and harmful to the working class.
“Imagine if John and George had succeeded in privatizing social security,” said Biden. “Imagine where every one of those elderly people today would be, literally today, in the stock market.”
After the rally, Biden crossed the River for a fundraiser in Louisville. It marks his first visit to Kentucky as Obama’s running mate.
