Ceremony To Mark Renovations At Floyd's Fork Park

by Rick Howlett on June 21, 2008

A ceremony will be held this weekend to mark the grand opening of the renovated Floyd’s Fork Park in Jeffersontown.

Metro Councilman Stuart Benson says the improvements costing nearly $700,000 dollars include a new pavilion, playground equipment and other facilities.

“I would like to have everybody to come and see what a nice park this is because the more people that use it, the better the parks will be,” Benson said.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 2:00pm Sunday.
