Senator Hillary Clinton won Kentucky’s primary election yesterday in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. Clinton delivered a victory speech at a rally in downtown Louisville last night.

“It’s especially sweet tonight because Kentucky has a knack for picking presidents. This state delivered two terms to a president named Clinton,”said Clinton.

Clinton had strong support in rural areas of Kentucky, while Barack Obama carried Louisville and Lexington.
