Hoosiers To Get More Visits From Clinton, Obama

by Rick Howlett on April 23, 2008

Now that the Pennsylvania primary is over, both Democratic presidential candidates are intensifying their focus on Indiana.

Hillary Clinton and her immediate family have already made 50 campaign stops in the Hoosier State, and the campaign’s Indiana director, Robby Mook, says get ready for more.

“You will see Sen. Clinton spending a whole lot of time here. I know that Chelsea and the (former) President (Bill Clinton) are looking forward to being back here very soon,” Mook said.

Senator Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, have more than a dozen campaign stops scheduled across Indiana this week.

The Obama campaign says the Illinois Senator will be stepping up his Indiana schedule as well. Obama has appeared this week in Evansville and New Albany.

Indiana’s primary is May 6.
