Senator Hillary Clinton has already made a few stops in Kentucky in her presidential campaign – but later today her state campaign office opens in Louisville. Clinton’s Kentucky campaign chairman, Jerry Lundergan, says Louisville will serve as the campaign’s Kentucky hub.
“Jefferson County is the largest county in the state of Kentucky, and where the largest amount of votes will be coming from, so it will be our nucleus, our central nerve center, and we’ll spread out form Louisville out into the rest of the state,” said Lundergan.
Lundergan says satellite officers in Lexington, Pikeville, Covington, Bowling Green and Paducah are on the way.
The Louisville headquarters opens tonight at 6:30 on Bardstown Road. Senator Clinton will not attend the opening.
