Barack Obama’s presidential campaign will open an office in Louisville Saturday.
Congressman John Yarmuth will help campaign workers open the downtown office at 10am.
The office will be located on East Market Street.
“It’ll give us more resources, things like lawn signs and things like that that will begin appearing in Louisville I’m sure,” says Louisville for Obama volunteer Matt Landan. “It will give us more focus in our voter registration efforts as we approach the April 21st deadline for registration.”
Landan says Obama will have about thirty campaign workers in Kentucky to prepare for the Democratic primary on May 20th.
